My Vacation

MY VACATION

I put an inflatable raft
There upon the water, near the sand
And took in all the beauty
Of this wonderful land

The breeze was blowing softly
It was a restful scene
The waves were rolling gently
On the beach, it was serene

And music to my ears
Was water's soothing sound
And there the waves were splashing
On the beach, around

The sun was shining bright
A beautiful day for a tan
Oh how I love this setting
This WAS my vacation plan

But gas has gone so high
I didn't know what to do
I needed an vacation
And the rest too

But $80 a pop
To fill the gas tank full
I can't afford to go
And that's no bull

So my friend, I've solved the problem
I'm going anyway
You should try it too
What else can I say!!!
